What to Expect

Beginning therapy can feel both hopeful and overwhelming. You may wonder what the process will be like or if it will really help. My goal is to make the experience clear, supportive, and collaborative from the very start.

Initial Contact
We’ll start with a brief phone consultation where you can share what brings you to therapy and ask any questions you may have. This helps us determine if we’re a good fit and what type of support will meet your needs.

Intake Session
Your first full session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask about your current concerns, background, and goals, while also giving you space to share what feels most important. Together, we’ll create an initial plan tailored to your needs.

Ongoing Therapy
Sessions typically last 45-55 minutes and are focused on your goals and improving your overall wellbeing. Some people come for short-term support around a specific challenge, while others choose longer-term therapy to explore patterns and create lasting change. We’ll regularly check in to make sure therapy is moving in the direction you want.

My Approach
I use evidence-based strategies in a way that feels personalized and flexible. Sessions are a collaborative process; you bring your lived experience and I bring professional expertise. Together, we’ll explore challenges, build on strengths, and work toward meaningful growth.

Confidentiality and Safety
Your privacy is protected, and everything we discuss remains confidential within the limits of the law. I strive to create a safe, respectful space where you can feel heard and supported.

Your Space, Your Pace

Teletherapy allows you to meet with me from the comfort of your own home or any private space, such as your car or a quiet break at work. Sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform to protect your privacy.

I understand that life can be busy and full of competing demands. Many clients find that telehealth makes therapy more accessible, convenient, and easier to fit into their schedules. I try to accommodate by offering flexible appointment times to meet your needs. Please reach out when you’re ready to schedule your session.

In-person sessions are available on a limited basis at my office located in Upland, CA.
